WELCOME

DEPARTMENT OF FOOD HYGIENE AND TECHNOLOGY OF ANIMAL ORIGIN
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Belgrade University

DEPARTMENT. We are one of 24 Departments, which comprise the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Belgrade. The Department has been formed (1998) by the merging of the Department of Meat Hygiene and Technology and the Department of Milk Hygiene and Technology. The Department of Food Hygiene and Technology has been training veterinary surgeons for over 70 years and has excellent links with the veterinary profession.

The Department has two sections:
Meat Hygiene and Technology
Milk Hygiene and Technology

STUFF

RESEARCH. The Department has a major commitment to research projects aligned to Food Safety. The group represents one of the particular strengths of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. It applies a modern, longitudinal and integrated approach to food safety research topics.
